Aromatic butter can be used for stuffing meatballs, chicken-kiev, adding to steaks, or any seafood. This aromatic butter can be a great addition to grilled prawns and many similar things. Furthermore, it is easy to store this butter for a long time in the freezer and use it when necessary. Today I will show you how I do this aromatic butter with herbs.

step-by-step instructions

  1. Ingredients. First of all, I would like to encourage you to use very young and tender herbs. It is better to buy them in a pot, rather than pre-cutted
    • Unsalted butter - 100g. I do prefer to salt it by myself, rather than take already salted butter, but it is not crucial
    • Salt - 1-2g. It is necessary to make 1 or 2% salt content in the butter. If you have already salted butter, then you can skip salt.
    • Garlic - 5-6 cloves
    • Dill - small bunch of live herb
    • Parsley - small bunch of live herb
    • Black pepep - 1/4 tsp. Optional

  2. Slice butter and leave it in a warm place to make it soft. Sometimes it is easy to do by placing a bowl with hot water under the plate. Sprinkle butter with salt.

  3. Finely chop the garlic, dill and parsley and add them to the butter

  4. Mix butter with herbs and add black pepper if you prefer.

  5. Freeze this mixed butter for further use, or use it immediately.
