Very interesting hot and sweet appetiser from Japanese cuisine, cooked with King Oyster mushrooms. This appetiser will bring you the real taste of Japan with the traditional taste with hot and sweet character.

Ingredients.
King Oyster mushrooms, also known as Eryngii. 2 large mushrooms.
Sesame oil. 1 tbsp
Honey. 1 tsp
Soy sauce. 1 tbsp
Garlic. 1 clove.
Hot chilli. 1 fruit, but the exact amount is defined by chilli's piquancy, or spicy heat and required piquancy of the final dish.
Fresh green onion.
Sesame seeds.
Mix soy sauce, honey and sesame oil with pressed garlic and finely chopped chilli.
Slice mushrooms lengthwise into 0,5 cm thick slices, and score each side of plates.
Cover sliced mushrooms with mixed sauce and marinade for 5-10 minutes.
Preheat non-stick skillet and start roasting mushrooms with marinating sauce. Roast about 1 minute.
Roast one minute on other side. Do not overcook.
Place mushrooms on serving platter, sprinkle with finely chopped green onion and sesame seeds.
