Ingredients are very important. Use the best quality products and you will have good results. In future articles I will give you more details about every simple step, but for now, just give simple ideas. Also, this ingredient list is a bit unusual for me, instead of giving exact measures, I will tell you – to your taste. This is because, your taste can be different, and the taste of all ingredients can be very different! Therefore add and try.
- Pizza sauce for 8 pizzas:
- Olive oil – 1 tbsp
- Banana shallot – 2 onions
- Chopped tomatoes – 400g tin
- Salt – 1 tsp – adjust to taste
- Sugar – 1 tsp – adjust to taste
- Italian herbs – 1 tbsp – adjust to taste
- Black pepper – ½ tsp – adjust to taste
- Hot red chilli – strictly to your taste and idea of pizza
- Balsamic vinegar or balsamic glazing – 1 tbsp – adjust to taste
- Pizza Dough for 8 12in pizzas:
- Strong white flour (00) - 500g
- Warm water - 325ml
- Salt - 1 tsp.
- Sugar – 1 tsp
- Dry Yeast - 7g
- Garlic butter for basting:
- Unsalted butter - 100g
- Garlic – half bulb
- Thyme & rosemary for brush
- Toppings
- Simple mild cheese for main cheese layer – adjust to taste
- Strong cheese for final toppings – adjust to taste
- Cooked meat, sausages, mushrooms, onion, pineapple – adjust to taste
