How to make mushrooms with salami, Spanish style
Many lovely dishes can be quickly prepared from already cooked ingredients. Salami, or another dry sausages from the South Europe, are very beautiful ingredients for many quick recipes, because these sausages already contain cooked meat with fat and plenty of flavours. This recipe is dedicated to quick making appetizer with mushrooms and salami. How many portions? It is difficult to say exactly, because somebody can eat one mushroom, whereas somebody can eat 10 mushrooms.

step-by-step instructions

  1. Ingredients for 2 persons appetizer.
    • Large mushrooms, 4
    • Dry salami, less than 100 gm
    • Onion, 1-2 small one
    • Garlic, half bulb.
    • Herbs, like dill and coriander.
    • Olive oil
    • Salt, black pepper

  2. Remove stems from mushrooms, but do not damage the mushroom cups.

  3. Press garlic and mix it with few tbsp of olive oil.

  4. Chop equal amount of onion and salami sausage into a small cubes, about 2 mm size each. Sprinkle with salt and freshly milled black pepper.

  5. Mix chopped salami and onion together.

  6. Fill mushroom cups with salami and onion mixture. Add garlic with oil on top of the mushrooms. Do remember, that amount of garlic will impact the final taste and adjust the amount of garlic accordingly.

  7. Place stuffed mushroom cups into greased with oil tray and oven bake for about 20 minutes at 200 ° C. Check regularly, mushrooms should give some juice about 10 minutes before the end.

  8. Add chopped herbs on top of the mushrooms and roast for another one minute.

  9. Serve as a starter, or appetizer, or as a snack for red wine.
