About Korean cuisine

Korean cuisine has become really popular worldwide recently. The cuisine is full of strong flavours and unique and unusual ingredients that can shock your taste buds. From spicy kimchi to savoury bulgogi, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

One of the reasons people love Korean food is because of its emphasis on fresh, healthy ingredients. Many Korean dishes feature vegetables, lean proteins, and fermented foods, which are all known for their health benefits. Furthermore, a very large amount of herbs and spices like garlic, ginger, and chilli pepper can give a very unique character to the dishes, which is really different from traditional European cuisine

Another one is the social aspect. Many Korean meals are meant to be shared with others, which can make for a fun and group dining experience. Korean BBQ, or hotpot, for example, allows everybody to cook their own meats right at the table, creating a big mess, or, more officially, something like a lively and engaging atmosphere. Also, this group mixing style can give you a much wider range of food, which can be mixed from basic ingredients.

Lastly, Korean cuisine offers a wide range of dishes to suit any taste. They give a very wide range of sweet, sour, spiced or very gentle, fresh food. So, if you haven't tried Korean cuisine yet, it's definitely worth giving it a chance, or just read our recipes here and cook it by yourself.

It is possible to spot, that Korean cuisine is kind of similar to Japanese cuisine, but it is only an expectation. In real life, they are very similar!
