How to cook king oyster mushrooms in soy sauce
Eryngii, or King Oyster mushrooms are considered as a Japanese mushrooms, and in Japanese cuisine, we can find plenty of beautiful recipes for cooking these mushrooms. A very traditional Japanese spices for these mushrooms are soy sauce and honey. This dish will be perfect as a starter or appetiser.

step-by-step instructions

  1. Ingredients are simple.
    • King Oyster mushrooms. 2 large mushrooms.
    • Soy sauce. 1 tbsp
    • Honey. 1 tsp
    • Sesame oil. 1 tbsp
    • Sesame seeds.
    • Fresh green onion.

  2. Mix soy sauce, honey and sesame oil.

  3. Slice mushrooms lengthwise into 0,5 cm thick slices, and score each side of them

  4. Cover sliced mushrooms with our mixed sauce and marinade for 5 minutes.

  5. Preheat non-stick skillet and start roasting mushrooms with marinating sauce. Roast about 1 minute.

  6. Roast one minute on other side.

  7. Place mushrooms on serving platter, sprinkle with sesame seeds and finely chopped green onion.
