A website is a set of information containing video, text, images, audio etc. that is appropriate for World Wide Web. It is hosted on a web server that is available by means of network (internet, local area network) through a Uniform Resource Locator. Each set of information, generally written in plain text with formatting commands of HTML and XHTML is known as a webpage of a website and is transported with the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP).
